Following on from its Digital Boombox, TDK have this week unveiled a new sound creation in the form of the TDK Sound Cube which has speakers positioned on all four sides, delivering 360 degrees of sound.
The TDK Sound Cube is equipped with 2 x 5 1/4-inch coaxial drivers and creates 20 Watts using 12 x D batteries or the provided AC power supply. Although TDk hasn’t revealed how long the Sund Cube will function on some many batteries.
The TDK Sound Cube is compatible with Apple’s iPod touch (2nd generations), iPod classic, iPod nano (2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th generation), iPhone 3GS, and iPhone 3G.
The retro dials on the front of the system allow you to control play and control music directly from storage devices including USB flash and external hard drives.
The TDK Sound Cube is now available to purchase for $300 from Amazon and Best Buy.
