It’s almost time to get in on the action at SEMA with all sorts of customer car and gear on display. One of the slick rides that will be at the show this year is the Superformance Future GT Forty. Superformance has been making some of the coolest GT40 replicas out there for years now.
This new Future GT Forty will feature a Ford twin-turbo V6 engine with Garrett turbos and an Aeromotive fuel system. That engine is a modified version of the engine in the current Ford GT. Modern Ford GT power in a retro-looking Ford GT body? Yes, please.
Superformance’s cars are so true to the original that about 2/3 of the parts are interchangeable between real Ford GT 40 cars and the replica. There is no word on performance numbers or cost at this time.
