SteelSeries has introduced a new wireless gaming headset at IFA 2019 this week in the form of the SteelSeries Arctis 1, a wireless headset that supports Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4 and Android operating systems. The Arctis 1 gaming headset is now available to purchase priced at £99.99, €119.99 or $119.99 depending on your location. Using the supplied small USB-C dongle, the SteelSeries wireless headphones offer lossless 2.4 GHz wireless technology for ultra-low latency wireless audio and communication.
The Arctis 1 Wireless headset is equipped with the same ClearCast microphone used in previous headsets offering both “natural-sounding clarity” and noise cancellation, but rather than being a retractable microphone as on the Arctis 3, 5, 7 and 9X, the microphone on the Arctis 1 is completely detachable allowing the headset to transition between gaming headset and headphones when desired.
– Ultra-low latency lossless wireless for PC, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Android
– Discord-certified ClearCast noise canceling detachable microphone
– Same high-performance speaker drivers as the award winning Arctis 7
– Steel-reinforced headband for a perfect fit and lasting durability
“The Arctis 1 Wireless also forgoes the iconic ski goggle suspension headband in favor of a lower profile solution that is optimized for use on the go, while still boasting excellent comfort with Airweave fabric ear cushions and a steel-reinforced headband for a perfect fit and lasting durability. It also provides the added flexibility of a 3.5 mm cable to easily plug into other devices like Xbox controllers or any other device with a 3.5 mm connection. “
