Coffee Chain Starbucks has announced that it has rolled out its Mobile Order & Pay service throughout the US.
The Starbucks Mobile Order & Pay services is now available on both Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android OS and customers can use the app throughout the US.
“Bringing Mobile Order and Pay to our customers is about meeting their needs of convenience and customization at any time of the day” said Adam Brotman, Starbucks chief digital officer. “The fact that it also represents the fastest technology application rollout we have ever done is indicative of the strength of our digital ecosystem, how well it has been received by both our customers and store partners and the impact we think it can have on the future of retail.”
When the company launched their Mobile Order & Pay service it was available at around 3,400 of their stores in the US in 17 states, this has now been expanded to all states and all of their 7,400 stores.
The app allows their customers to order coffee and food from their smartphone, they can also pay for their order from their device and then pick it up at their nearest store.
