We have heard a number of LG G3 rumors over the last few months. The last thing we heard was that the LG G3 would be equipped with a QHD display.
Now, the Sprint LG G3 has turned up in the UAProf of Sprint’s website, and it appears to confirm some of the specifications we heard about previously.
The LG G3 will come with a 5.5 inch QHD display that has a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, the device will also come with 3GB of RAM.
Processor and Performance
We were expecting the LG G3 to come with a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, but the one listed on the UAProf is a Qualcomm MSM8974AA, which is the Snapdragon 800. This does seem somewhat strange, as we are expecting the handset to launch with the latest Snapdragon 801 processor and not the Snapdragon 800. The Snapdragon 801 offers better performance and efficiency compared to the Snapdragon 800, which could be a significant factor for users who are looking for the latest technology in their devices.
Additional Specifications and Features
Other rumored specifications include 32GB of built-in storage, which should be ample for most users. However, it is not yet clear if the device will support expandable storage via a microSD card slot. This feature is often crucial for users who need additional space for apps, photos, and videos.
The LG G3 is also expected to feature a 2.1-megapixel front camera, which should be sufficient for video calls and selfies. The rear camera is rumored to be a 13-megapixel shooter, which is expected to come with advanced features such as optical image stabilization (OIS) and possibly 4K video recording capabilities. These features would make the LG G3 a strong contender in the smartphone camera market.
The handset will also come with Android 4.4 Kit Kat out of the box. Android 4.4 Kit Kat is known for its improved performance and new features, such as a revamped user interface, better multitasking, and enhanced security. This should provide a smooth and enjoyable user experience.
Battery life is another critical aspect of any smartphone, and while there have been no specific rumors about the LG G3’s battery capacity, it is expected to come with a sizable battery to support its high-resolution display and powerful hardware. Wireless charging and fast charging capabilities could also be part of the package, making it more convenient for users to keep their devices powered throughout the day.
As soon as we get some more details about the device, we will let you guys know. The LG G3 is shaping up to be an impressive device with its high-resolution display, powerful hardware, and advanced camera features. It will be interesting to see how it compares to other flagship smartphones on the market once it is officially released.
