We mentioned earlier this week that Sprint had cut the price of the iPhone 4S by $50 and waved the activation fee for new contracts. If getting iPhone 4S with 16 GB of storage for $149.99 wasn’t enough to get you to dig for your wallet, this new deal may be. Sprint is offering the 16 GB iPhone 4S at a much more significant discount.
Sprint has announced that it will give you a $100 American Express Rewards Card with the purchase of the new iPhone 4S. That new American Express card is in addition to the waived activation fee and the $50 discounted price from last week.
That means you can get the iPhone 4S on the Sprint network for only $50 with a new contract. If that doesn’t lure in a bunch of new customers for Sprint, I don’t know what will. There’s no indication of when this deal will end. Apple is matching the deal with a $100 Apple Store gift card in its retail locations.
