Toy robot manufacturer Sphero has announced a new addition to their range of educational robot kits, unveiling the Sphero Mini Activity Kit. The new bundle includes a mini robot together with 15 activities to help teach children how to program and simple robotics. The Sphero Mini Kit includes a clear Sphero Mini robotic ball equipped with a gyroscope, accelerometer, LED lights and a rechargeable battery all of which c an be controlled using the Sphero iOS and Android application. Once children have mastered the basics the kit allows them to then move on to the Sphero Edu app, which teaches JavaScript and more advanced programming skills.
