Xiaomi has launched a special edition version of their Xiaomi Mi Note smartphone and the handset comes with a bamboo casing.
The handset features the same design as the model we saw previously and comes with a metal casing, although the rear casing on the handset is made from Bamboo.
Hardware on the handset remains the same with a 5.7 inch display that has a Full HD resolution of 1902 x 1080 pixels and the device is powered by a quad core 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 processor.
Other specifications in the Xiaomi Mi Note include 3GB of RAM and a choice of two storage options, 16GB or 64GB, the device also comes with a microSD card slot for extra storage. The handset is equipped with a 4 megapixel front facing camera and a 13 megapixel rear camera, there is also WiFi, Bluetooth, 4G LTE and a 3000 mAh battery.
The special Edition Mi Note will go on sale in China next week and the company is now taking pre-orders on the handset for 2,299 yuan which is around $367 at the current exchange rate.
