A new Sony device has appeared in the GFXBench benchmarks with the model number E6533, and it looks like this may be the new Sony Xperia Z4.
We previously heard that the Sony Xperia Z4 would come with a Quad HD display, although the device listed in the benchmarks appears to have a Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
Specifications and Performance
The rest of the specifications of the Sony Xperia Z4 appear to be similar to what we heard previously. The device will come with an Octa Core 1.9GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, an Adreno 430 GPU, and 3GB of RAM. This combination of hardware is expected to deliver a smooth and responsive user experience, capable of handling multitasking and high-performance applications with ease.
The handset also appears to have 32GB of included storage, which should be sufficient for most users. However, it is not yet clear whether the device will support expandable storage via a microSD card, which has been a popular feature in previous Xperia models.
Camera Capabilities
The Sony Xperia Z4 is expected to feature a 5-megapixel front camera and a 20-megapixel rear camera. This is interesting because the camera appears to be Sony’s 20.7-megapixel Exmor RS camera. There were rumors previously that the Sony Xperia Z4 would feature a new 22-megapixel Exmor RS sensor, but it seems that Sony has opted to stick with the tried and tested 20.7-megapixel sensor.
The Exmor RS sensor is known for its excellent image quality, particularly in low-light conditions. It features advanced technologies such as HDR (High Dynamic Range) and phase detection autofocus, which should help users capture stunning photos and videos. The front camera, with its 5-megapixel resolution, should be more than adequate for selfies and video calls.
Design and Build Quality
While the benchmarks provide a glimpse into the device’s specifications, details about the design and build quality of the Sony Xperia Z4 are still scarce. However, based on Sony’s track record, we can expect the Xperia Z4 to feature a sleek and premium design, possibly with a metal and glass construction. Sony has always been known for its attention to detail and high-quality materials, so it is likely that the Xperia Z4 will continue this tradition.
Software and Features
The Sony Xperia Z4 is expected to run on the latest version of Android, likely with Sony’s custom user interface on top. Sony’s UI is known for its clean and intuitive design, as well as its useful features and customization options. The device is also expected to come with a range of pre-installed apps and services, including Sony’s suite of multimedia apps, which are designed to enhance the user’s entertainment experience.
Release Date and Availability
We are expecting Sony to make their new Xperia Z4 smartphone official sometime later this month. As soon as we get more details, we will let you guys know. The Xperia Z4 is likely to be available in multiple markets worldwide, and it will be interesting to see how it competes with other flagship smartphones from manufacturers such as Samsung, Apple, and HTC.
The Sony Xperia Z4 looks to be a promising device with a powerful processor, impressive camera capabilities, and a high-quality display. While there are still some details that need to be confirmed, the information we have so far suggests that the Xperia Z4 will be a worthy successor to the Xperia Z3. Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to the official announcement.
