The Consumer Electronics Show is just around the corner, and we may get to see a handful of new devices to see the light of the day in Las Vegas. Earlier today, we heard that Samsung may launch the Galaxy S6 at CES 2015, but it seems they are not the only ones.
Sony is also expected to expand its Xperia line up and may launch the Xperia Z4 and Z4 Ultra next month at CES 2015. A new report leaked some specifications of both devices which are expected to launch next month.
First up is the Sony Xperia Z4 Compact, the device will feature a similar 4.7-inch with a 1080p resolution and is expected to ship with the new Snapdragon 810 chipset paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Other features include a 20.7MP rear camera, 5MP front-facing camera, 1080p video recording, IP68 certification which makes the device waterproof, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, LTE Cat.9, wireless charging support, and a 3,000mAh battery.
As for the phablet-sized device, it is expected to come with a 6.44-inch display sporting a resolution of 2560 by 1440 pixels, a quad-core Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM, 16MP camera, and possible a 3,500-4000 mAh battery.
There’s no official confirmation from Sony about its existence, but CES is just around the corner, and we’ll find out if it’s real. Until then, take this rumor with a pinch of salt.
