Japan’s NTT DoCoMo will be announcing new devices on the 10th of October, and it looks like one of the new handsets that be appear at the event will be the Sony Xperia Z1 Mini.
The Sony Xperia Z1 Mini will come with similar specifications to the Z1, although it will feature a smaller 4.3 inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.
The Xperia Z1 Mini will come with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box, the handset will be powered by a quad core 22Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and will also feature 2GB of RAM.
Other specifications on the Xperia Z1 Mini will include 16GB of built in storage, and it will also come with the same dust and water protection of the Xperia Z1.
We presume that if the Xperia Z1 Mini is announced in Japan on the 10th of October, the handset will go on sale before the end of October, there are no details on when it will launch in the US and Europe.
