Not too long ago, Sony unveiled their pocket-friendly Sony Xperia Z1 Compact smartphone that boasts all the similar specifications as the company’s flagship device, Xperia Z1, with a trimmed down screen. Unlocked Mobiles has already updated the Sony Xperia Z1 Compact product page, along with a £438.98 price including taxes for the SIM-free version of the handset.
Now, other retailers are jumping in as well. Carphone Warehouse announced the handset will be available with an estimated arrival in February. Additionally, Phones4U also started taking the pre-orders of the miniature handset.
Carphone Warehouse didn’t reveal an exact date or the pricing plans for the trimmed-down Sony Xperia Z1 compact, but interested parties can pre-register on the link give at the end of this posts and sign up to know more about the pre-orders date. It seems the retailer will offer the handset on various plans, including SIM-free, PAYG and on-contract.
On the other hand, Phones4u is taking pre-orders for the device as well. In addition, the company is offering a promotion where users, who pre-order, can get their hands-on the Sony Wireless speakers worth £119 as well.
Sony Xperia Z1 comes with a 4.3-inch display with 720p resolution, a quad-core 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 SoC, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage with a microSd card slot, 20.7MP camera with G Lens, a 2,300 mAh battery and runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box.
