Sony has released a firmware update for two of its smartphones, the Sony Xperia Z1 and the Sony Xperia Z Ultra, the update brings a number of improvements and bug fixes to both handsets.
The Sony Xperia Z1 now comes with a tweak camera algorithm that is designed to improve the overall performance of the camera, and Sony has also made some improvements to the Smart Social Camera platform.
According to the release notes, the camera app now runs more smoothly with improvements to Burst Mode, Superior Auto, AR effect and Sweep Panorama.
The Sony Xperia Z Ultra has had updated to the touchscreen sensitivity, for both finger gestures and also when using a stylus with the handset.
There are also a number of other changes to both devices which include re-calibration of the displays to ensure that the display is bright and bold.
Sony has also made improvements to the power consumption on both handsets, which will give the devices improved battery life. There are also improvements to email with Exchange for faster email sync and download.
