Sony recently announced that their new Sony Xperia Tablet Z would be launching worldwide in the second quarter of 2013, and now they have announced that the tablet will launch in Japan on the 22nd of March.
The March the 22nd release date for the Sony Xperia Tablet Z will be with mobile carrier NTT DoCoMo, and Sony will then launch the WiFi only version of the tablet on the 13th of April.
The Sony Xperia Tablet features a 10.1 inch display with a 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution, plus Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, the device is powered by a quad core Qualcomm APQ8064 processor clocked at 1.5GHz.
Other specifications on the Sony Xperia Tablet Z include 2GB of RAM and 32GB of built in storage, and there is also a rear facing 8.1 megapixel camera with Sony’s Exmor R sensor, it is designed to be waterproof and dust proof and it features NFC, LTE and a microSD card slot.
