We recently heard that Sony would be releasing the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the new Sony Xperia S some time in May, the news came from a Sony representative on a Sony forum.
Unfortunately it looks like the announcement was a mistake and Sony has now said that the Xperia S will get the Android 4.0 update in June and not May, according to the guys over at Cnet.
The update has not been delayed, instead the wrong date was announced originally, Sony have yet to confirm the exact date that the update will be released, all we know so far is that it will land some time in June.
As soon as we get some more information on exactly when Sony will release the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Sony Xperia S we will let you guys know.
