Sony has released more details on their new range of ultraportable laptops, the Sony Z Series, which feature a 13.3 inch LED backlit screen and a range of Intel Core i7-620M processors.
Other specifications include Quad SSD drives and NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M graphics and up to 6GB of RAM.
There are two models in the range, the VAIO VPCZ11Z9E and VAIO VPCZ11X9E, the VAIO VPCZ11Z9E features a choice of Core i7-620m processors from 2.66GHZ up to 3.33GHZ and comes with 6GB of DDR3 RAM, plus a 13.1 inch LED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a 256GB Quad SSD.
The VAIO VPCZ11X9E comes with a choice of Core i7-620m processors from 2.4GHz to 2.93GHZ and 4GB of DDR3 RAM, and a 128GB Quad SSD. The 13.1 inch LED display features a resolution of 1600 x 900.
Both models in the Sony Vaio Z range will go on sale in March, with prices starting at $1,000.
