Sony Online Entertainment has this week unveiled a new game that the company is developing that will be a free-to-play Zombie MMO H1Z1.
H1Z1 will feature zombies, crafting and survival after mankind was devastated by the H1Z1 virus, which has left death and destruction in its path. Check out the video after the jump to learn more about the new H1Z1 game.
The new H1Z1 game will use the next-generation Forgelight engine and will use the same roadmap system that SOE currently uses for their Planetside 2 game to clearly communicate new features that the H1Z1 development team will be working on for players to enjoy.
The announcement of the new SOE game was made by Sony Online Entertainment president John Smedley who explained:
“It’s a massively multiplayer game in which players fight for survival in a world where death is the only sure thing,” Smedley said. “The H1Z1 virus devastated mankind and left nothing but death and destruction in its wake and a world nearly empty of human life where the remnants of humanity are in a fight against extinction against those infected with the virus.”
Unfortunately no information on worldwide availability has been released as yet, but as soon as information comes to light we will keep you updated as always. For more information on the new SEO H1Z1 game jump over to the official H1Z1 website for details.
