If you have been looking forward to the launch of Sony Ericsson’s Xperia Ray smartphone and live in the UK. You will be pleased to know that the new Xperia Ray is now available to pre-order with shipping expected to commence on 15th August 2011.
The new Xperia Ray is now available for £350 and is equipped with a 854 x 480 Reality Touchscreen Capacitive Display + BRAVIA and powered by a 1Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor powered by 512MB of RAM.
Its operating system will be Android Gingerbread 2.3 and its fitted with everything a smartphone needs these days in the form of accelerometer, compass, GPS, light sensor and proximity sensor. As well as a camera capable of capturing 720p HD footage with the use of a 16 x digital zoom to capture 8MB photographs.
Its also integrated with Facebook and allows you to comment directly on the pictures, share recommendations and likes from the music player and view Facebook albums directly in the Xperia Ray’s gallery.
