Sony has created a new digital music player in the form of the Sony DMP-Z1 which was officially unveiled during last week’s Hong Kong High-End Audio Visual Show 2018. Priced at $7,882 the digital music player features high resolution audio that supports DSD Native up to 11.2 MHz and PCM audio playback, 4.4mm balanced, and standard 3.5mm, headphone outputs together with 256GB of internal storage that can be expanded even further thanks to the inclusion of 2 micro SD slots.
Equipped with a rechargeable battery the Dual DAC stereo architecture it is capable of providing up to 10 hours of playback for non high resolution and nine hours the high resolution playback. “Possess the ultimate music experience anywhere with the DMP-Z1, crafted to deliver unrivaled resolution and dynamics to the most demanding headphones and audiophiles’ ears.
