The purported Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact has appeared in a number of leaks in the past few days. Not too long ago, the company accidentally revealed the compact Sony Xperia Z3 tablet Compact.
Now, the company inadvertently mentioned the alleged tablet on one of its pages. It has been removed at the time of writing, but it enough to create a spark on the internet, with people catching up with it.
Here’s the image which appeared on Sony’s website, confirming that we’ll see a new tablet from the Japanese OEM at IFA 2014 in Berlin.
As per rumors, the alleged tablet will come with an 8-inch display sporting a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, and will be powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 801 chipset, but at a higher clock speed. The specifications it’s expected to bring aren’t too different compared to the Xperia Z2, and should feature 3GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot for expansion, 8.0 megapixel Exmor RS rear facing camera, and should come with Android 4.4.4 KitKat as its operating system out of the box.
It seems we know most of the stuff about the tablet ahead of its official announcement, which is expected to take place at IFA 2014 in Berlin next week. Stay tuned, we’ll update you as soon as Sony announces the highly anticipated tablet.
