It has been rumoured this week that Microsoft has been developing a smaller Microsoft Surface tablet that will be fitted with a 7.5 inch display rather than the 10.6 of the Microsoft Surface 2.
Reports from numerous online sources are suggesting that the new smaller Microsoft Surface will ship with a 4:3 display and maybe launched next year offering a 1440 x 1080 resolution.
References for a smaller display were included in Microsoft’s Windows 8.1 developer tools that were released earlier this year, adding weight to the rumours that a possibly smaller Microsoft Surface tablet is under development.
Unfortunately no information on pricing or worldwide availability has been released or leaked as yet for the smaller Microsoft Surface tablet, but as soon as information comes to light we will keep you updated as always.
