Building on his previous Kickstarter campaign successes designer Nathan Mummert has developed his previous laptop style desk into a full size functional desktop computer desk which has been designed for professionals, students, designers and gamers.
Constructed from premium bamboo and protected with a sheet of clear acrylic the SlatePro Personal TechDesk has been designed to keep all your gadgets organised and easy to locate. Watch the video after the jump to learn more about the design of the SlatePro Personal TechDesk.
“When you are willing to rethink a simple, everyday item like a desk – innovative design can develop into something extremely special. We’re not saying the SlatePro is a desk ahead of its time – it’s just a desk we designed for the time. Get your SlatePro and discover a new way of thinking. Use it once and you won’t want to sit at a regular desk again.
The SlatePro’s surface is cut from pure, premium bamboo and protected by a sheet of clear acrylic. It’s super strong, very light weight, and it will support your computer with ease. The desk’s steel legs are completely hand-crafted. They create the perfect height and are made by some of the best metal workers in the USA.”
The SlatePro Personal TechDesk project is currently over on the Kickstarter crowd funding website looking to raise enough pledges to make the jump into production. So make a pledge and help SlatePro Personal TechDesk become a reality if you think the design is something your home could benefit from.
