Skype has announced today the rolled out of a new update for Android devices adding support for Skype to an additional 14 Android devices. Now bringing the total of Android devices supported by Skype to 41. Skype also announced that it will also be available by default on several Motorola Devices including the Atrix 2.5 or Xoom 2.5.
Other new features within the update include the ability to switch between portrait and landscape modes during video calls, and zoom in with a simple double tap on the screen. Together with additional support for Bluetooth headsets.
Following on along the same path as iOS devices Skype has also introduced advertising to the new Skype 2.5 Android update, but like the iOS devices if you have credit on your account the adverts will not appear.
