Shazam has received its first update since Apple announced it was buying the company. The iOS version of Shazam now comes with an offline mode.
The offline mode allows you to use Shazam without being connected to the internet, you can ask the app to name the song and when you are connected to the internet again it will name it for you.
Keep Shazaming, even when you’re offline! Next time the music’s on but the WiFi isn’t, simply tap the big blue button and we’ll name that song as soon as you’re back online. Now we’ll notify you immediately, even it you don’t have the Shazam app open.

The latest version of Shazam for iOS is available as a free download from the iTunes app store.
