Sharp is the latest company to add a new Android tablet to their range with the launch of the Sharp Galapagos A01SH, which will come with a 7 inch multi-touch display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixel and will run Android Honeycomb 3.2.
The Sharp Galapagos A01SH comes with a dual core 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, plus 1GB of RAM and 8GB of built in storage, there are two cameras with a 5 megapixel camera on the back with an LED flash and a two megapixel camera up front for video chat.
Other specifications on the Sharp Galapagos A01SH 7 inch Android tablet include a microSD card slot that can take up to 32GB cards, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, 802.11 b/g/n Wifi and a micro HDMI port.
The Sharp Galapagos A01SH will go on sale in Japan shortly, there are no details on pricing and also no details on whether we will see it in the US and Europe.
