Cyclists looking for a more convenient and easy to carry a bike lock to keep their bike secure when left. Maybe interested in a unique bike lock designed by Seatylock. Called the Seatylock Gel, the new design is a combination seat and locking system to secure your bike when required. There is nothing worse than having to carry a padlock in a backpack, around your handlebars or seat post when cycling.
The Seatylock Gel has been specifically designed to solve this problem and provides a secure, convenient way to always have your bike lock available and makes sure your seat is also secure and can’t be taken, removing the need to carry it with you. Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about the Seatylock Gel bike lock which has launched via Kickstarter this week to raise the $10,000 the development team require to take the innovative design into production.
Seatylock is a patented product that doubles as a bicycle seat and a bicycle lock in one, offering a rugged folding bike lock that features a unique structure to form a seat when collapsed and then a 1m lock when unravelled. Connecting to the bicycles seat post using a specially designed universal adapter. The bike lock functions as a regular bike seat when required and is easily removed to lock your bike to a more substantial structure such as a lamppost or bike rack when required.
The Seatylock Gel bike lock and seat is now available to back via Kickstarter with pledges starting from $75 or £53 for super earlybird backers. If all goes well worldwide shipping is expected to take place during June 2018.
