Sanyo have unveiled a new addition to their projector range in the form of a ultra-short throw project, named the PLC-WL2503. Which allows for interactivity on any surface, without requiring a dedicated whiteboard embedded with sensors of any kind.
The Sanyo PLC-WL2503 is capable of projecting a 80-inch, XGA with a resolution image of 1280 × 800 from just 34 inches from a wall, and due to the small distance from the viewing surface create a sharp bright viewing image. You can then interact using the built in sensor and newly developed software, that allows the projection white screen to be written on with a built-in infrared light pen while using a PC.
The PLC-WL2503 is equipped with SANYO’s exclusive PJ Network Interface for wired networking and is designed to provide 4,000 hours in ideal condition of maintenance-free use without the need to change the lamp or filter.
The Sanyo PLC-WL2503 is expected to arrive on the high street in late January and be priced around $1695.00, more information can be found on the Sanyo PLC-WL2503 web page.
