Second Life creators of this week made available their new virtual reality creation platform Sansar, available via a new open beater which has started today allowing those interested to create and share social virtual reality experiences.
Experiences within Sansar can be created by importing .fbx files from popular 3D modeling tools such as Maya, Blender, and 3ds Max. To learn more about Sansar watch the video below.
Sansar is now in creator beta and is still rapidly evolving. We’re currently working on additional features like collaborative creation, more avatar customization options, terrain editing, and much more. Expand your creative inventory with additional assets from the Store. Lay out your scene in VR or desktop mode, and enhance your creation with interactive lighting, spatial audio, and C# scripting. Sell original 3D models, C# scripts, audio files, and other content in the Sansar Store.
