Samsung is rumored to be working on another smartwatch which will feature a round display, as well as a rotating bezel ring and crown-shaped power button.
According to a new report from SamMobile, who have a decent track record when it comes to Samsung products, the round smartwatch codenamed Orbis will also come with wireless charging capabilities.
The report, citing their sources, mention that Orbis will come with wireless charging out of the box, and there’s no strap or any other cover to add the feature. It remains to be seen how the Korean company plans to pull this off, but this should make the life of smartwatch owners easier.
The alleged Samsung Orbis will come with Tizen as its operating system — which is usually on most of the Gear smartwatches introduced by Samsung. Furthermore, the smartwatch is expected to see the light of the day at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
The specifications of the smartwatch are a little scarce, but we’ll keep an eye on the news and update you as soon as we get to hear anything more about this mysterious Orbis smartwatch from Samsung. What do you think about it?
