Samsung announced its new range of QLED TVs at CES last month and now the company has started taking pre-orders on the devices.
Prices for the new Samsung QLED TVs will start at $2,499 for the 55 inch model and will go up to $6,000 for the 75 inch model.
Enhanced Color Performance and Brightness
The new lineup offers dramatically improved color performance, displaying DCI-P3 color space accurately and – in another world first for Samsung, QLED TVs are capable of reproducing 100 percent color volume. This means they can express all colors at any level of brightness – with even the subtlest differences visible at the QLED’s peak luminance – between 1,500 and 2,000 nits.
This advancement in color performance is a significant leap forward in television technology. The ability to reproduce 100 percent color volume ensures that viewers experience a more vibrant and lifelike picture, regardless of the brightness level. This is particularly beneficial for watching HDR content, where the range of colors and brightness levels can be fully appreciated. The peak luminance of 1,500 to 2,000 nits means that even in brightly lit rooms, the picture remains clear and vivid.
Pre-Order Availability and Retail Options
The new Samsung QLED TVs are now available to pre-order direct from Samsung in the US and also from major retailers such as Best Buy and Amazon. This wide availability ensures that customers have multiple options to secure their new QLED TV from their preferred retailer.
In addition to the impressive color performance, Samsung’s QLED TVs come with a range of features designed to enhance the viewing experience. These include improved smart TV capabilities, allowing for seamless streaming of content from popular services like Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+. The TVs also support voice control through Bixby, Samsung’s virtual assistant, as well as compatibility with other voice assistants like Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
Moreover, Samsung has focused on the design of the QLED TVs to ensure they fit seamlessly into any living space. The TVs feature a sleek, minimalist design with virtually no bezels, providing an immersive viewing experience. The One Invisible Connection cable helps to reduce clutter by combining power and data into a single cable, making it easier to manage and hide.
For gamers, the new QLED TVs offer features like low input lag and support for variable refresh rates, ensuring a smooth and responsive gaming experience. The TVs also support HDMI 2.1, which allows for higher resolutions and frame rates, making them future-proof for upcoming gaming consoles and devices.
Samsung’s commitment to innovation is evident in the new QLED lineup, which not only offers superior picture quality but also a range of features designed to enhance the overall user experience. Whether you’re a movie buff, a sports fan, or a gamer, the new QLED TVs have something to offer.
