The Samsung Galaxy Note has been an incredibly popular device from Samsung, and with the new Samsung Galaxy Note 3 ready to launch this month, it looks like the Note 3 will be even more popular than the last two models.
Samsung revealed some details about their Galaxy Note sales to date at IFA in Berlin. Samsung has sold over 38 million Galaxy Note devices since the first one launched.

And Samsung is expecting to sell 10 million of their new Samsung Galaxy Note 3, although we suspect that they may just end up selling quite a few more than that.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will go on sale in 149 countries around the world from the 25 of September.
Innovative Features of the Galaxy Note Series
The Galaxy Note series has always been known for its innovative features, which have set it apart from other smartphones on the market. The original Galaxy Note introduced the concept of a “phablet,” a device that bridges the gap between a smartphone and a tablet. This larger screen size, combined with the S Pen stylus, offered users a unique way to interact with their device, making it ideal for note-taking, drawing, and multitasking.
The Galaxy Note 3 continues this tradition of innovation. It features a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, providing stunning visuals and vibrant colors. The S Pen has also been improved, offering more precise control and additional functionality. For example, the Air Command feature allows users to access a menu of options simply by hovering the S Pen over the screen and pressing a button on the stylus.
Performance and Specifications
Under the hood, the Galaxy Note 3 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, ensuring smooth performance and quick response times. It comes with 3GB of RAM, which is more than enough for multitasking and running demanding applications. The device also offers 32GB or 64GB of internal storage, with the option to expand further using a microSD card.
The camera capabilities of the Galaxy Note 3 are also impressive. It features a 13-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization and 4K video recording, allowing users to capture high-quality photos and videos. The front-facing camera is 2 megapixels, which is sufficient for video calls and selfies.
Battery life is another area where the Galaxy Note 3 excels. It comes with a 3,200mAh battery, which provides enough power to get through a full day of heavy use. Additionally, the device supports fast charging, so users can quickly top up their battery when needed.
Samsung has also included a range of software features to enhance the user experience. The Galaxy Note 3 runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, with Samsung’s TouchWiz interface layered on top. This includes features like Multi Window, which allows users to run two apps side by side, and Smart Stay, which keeps the screen on as long as the user is looking at it.
The Galaxy Note 3 is also compatible with Samsung’s Galaxy Gear smartwatch, which was launched alongside the device. The Galaxy Gear allows users to receive notifications, make calls, and control their music directly from their wrist, providing a convenient and seamless experience.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 builds on the success of its predecessors by offering a range of innovative features, powerful performance, and a sleek design. With its large display, improved S Pen, and impressive specifications, it is sure to be a hit with consumers around the world. Samsung’s expectation to sell 10 million units may very well be surpassed, as the Galaxy Note 3 has all the makings of a best-seller.
