RIM’s CEO Thorsten Heins recently announced that RIM are considering licensing their BlackBerry OS to other smartphone manufacturers, and there have been a number of rumors about various manufacturers licensing the technology.
One of those companies is Samsung, and now Samsung has announced that they have no interesting in licensing BlackBerry 10 from RIM.
There have also been rumors that Samsung have been considering purchasing RIM, and this has now also been denied, so it looks like Samsung will be continuing to produce Android devices.
There really wouldn’t be any benefit for Samsung to start producing BlackBerry OS based devices, as the company has done so well with Google’s Android platform it is obviously focusing its efforts in that area.
