Apple announced their new iPhone 5S earlier in the week, the handset is one of the first smartphones to come with 64-bit processing. It looks like Apple may have ruffled a few feathers over at Samsung with the announcement of a 64-bit processor.
Samsung has now decided to announce that their next smartphone will come with a 64-bit processor, Samsung’s mobile business chief, Shin Jong-kyun told the Korea times that they would have a 64 bit processor in their next device.
“Not in the shortest time. But yes, our next smartphones will have 64-bit processing functionality.”
Samsung has also said that they intend to expand their smartphone business in China, Apple is doing this with the new iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S which will also launch in China.
