Samsung has been showing us photos of its new Samsung Gear S2 smartwatch, the device is now official and we have all of the specifications on Samsung’s latest wearable.
The Samsung Gear S2 comes with a 1.2 inch circular AMOLED display with a resolution of 360 x 360 pixels and 302 pixels per inch.

It is the perfect complement for any occasion, easily taking you from day to night, from work to workout—and ensuring that you get more out of every moment in your day, by making it smarter and ultimately more personal and fun.”
This new smartwatch comes with Samsung’s Tizen OS rather than Android Wear and the device is powered by a dual core processor clocked at 1GHz.
There is also 512MB of RAM and 4GB of built in storage and the device comes with an IP68 certification for dust and water resistance.
Connectivity on the device comes in the form of WiFi, Bluetooth and NFC and there are a range of sensors which include a heart rate sensor, the device also come with a 250 mAh battery which Samsung says will give you between two and three days usage.
There will be two different versions of Samsung’s new smartwatch, one with WiFi and the other with WiFi and 3G.
Samsung will be showing off their new smart watches at IFA 2015 in Berlin this week, as yet there are no details on pricing.
