The rumor mill is focusing too much on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 5 that we actually forgot that Samsung is also working on a smartwatch known as the Gear A, codenamed Orbis. We’ve heard about it over the past few months that it will launch later this year, and the Korean OEM is reportedly working with luxury watch makers on its upcoming smartwatch.
Rumors suggest it will launch alongside the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, and now there are some additional details about the alleged Gear A. A new report from SamMobile reveals a list of specifications of the upcoming Samsung Gear A smartwatch.
As per the publication, the alleged wearable will feature a Exynos 3472 dual-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz and the Mali-400 MP4 GPU clocked at 450 MHz, 768 MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, a 250 mAh battery and will use Bluetooth 4.1 to connect with smartphones and tablets. There will be a variant which will come with support for with Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n).
It will be the first round smartwatch from the Korean company and will feature a Super AMOLED display with a 360 by 360 resolution.
