Samsung has finally released the pricing and release date information for the Samsung Galaxy Tab WiFi in the US, it will go on sale in the US from the 10th of April and will retail for $349.99.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab WiFi, is a WiFi only version of the original Galaxy Tab, and it features a 7 inch touchscreen display and comes with Android 2.2 Froyo.
“We are excited to have the WiFi version of the Galaxy Tab join our growing portfolio of Galaxy-branded devices,” said Dale Sohn, President of Samsung Mobile. “The 7-inch Galaxy Tab is the first truly mobile tablet on the market, allowing users to comfortably hold the device in one hand while typing or navigating the Web with the other.”
Other specifications on the Samsung Galaxy Tab WiFi include 32GB of built in storage, plus a microSD card slot, there is also a three megapixel camera on the back of the Galaxy Tab and a VGA camera on the front for video chat.
