Last week we told you that Amazon UK had listed to new Samsung Galaxy Tab Android tablet for £799, now it seems Amazon has changed their pricing and is now listing the Galaxy Tab for sale here in the UK at £680.
Samsung has also added a launch date for the Galaxy Tab here in the UK, and it is showing as the 1st of November 2010, although we are still waiting for exact pricing information from Samsung, this sounds a bit better than the previous price.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab features a 7 inch touchscreen WSVGA display and it comes with Android 2.2 Froyo. It is also a fully functioning phone, it is capable of making and receiving voice and video calls plus SMS, MMS and email.
There is also a 3 megapixel camera on the back for taking photos, and a VGA video camera on the front for making video calls.
The Galaxy Tab will feature a number of built in Google services, which includes Google Navigation, Google Goggles and Google Places, it also feature built in GPS.
Last week Samsung announced that the Galaxy Tab would be available on all four major carriers in the US, we are still waiting to see which carriers here in the UK will be offering the Galaxy Tab and what deals will be available.
