Yesterday we saw some more pictures of the 10.5 inch version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S, and it looks like Samsung may make these new tablets official on the 12th of June.
Samsung’s CEO JK Shin recently told the WSJ that they are holding a press event on the 12th of June in New York, and the company will launch some new tablets.
The company will launch an 8.4 inch version and a 10.5 inch version of the new Samsung Galaxy Tab S, and both devices are expected to feature similar specifications.
The 10.5 inch Galaxy Tab S will feature a 10.5 inch Super AMOLED display that is equipped with a WQHD resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels.
These new Samsung tablets are rumored to feature an eight core Samsung Exynos 5420 processor which is made up of four Cortex A5 cores with a clock speed of 1.9GHz and our Cortex A7 cores with a clock speed of 1.3GHz.
The device is also expected to come with either 2GB or 3GB of RAM, and there will be a 2.1 megapixel camera on the front, plus an 8 megapixel camera on the back.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S will feature Samsung’s Magazine UX custom user interface and will come with Android 4.4 Kit Kat, as soon as we get some more information, we will let you guys know.
