AT&T has already added a handful of Samsung tablets to its product portfolio, including the oversized Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 and Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, but it seems there are more on their way.
Now, it seems the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 4G LTE, with a model number SM-T337A , will land on AT&T in the coming weeks. Recently, the tablet was spotted on the FCC, which is usually the last stop before the products hit retail.
Although the FCC listing doesn’t mention it to be the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, but the model number and dimensions of the tablet hints at the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0. The FCC filing shows the same tablet, with support for LTE bands for AT&T.
As far as the specifications are concerned, it is not any different then the international version, and rocks an 8-inch display sporting a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, with a quad-core 1.2GHz processor under the hood.
There’s 1.5GB of RAM on board with 16GB storage on board which can be expanded by a microSD card slot of up to 64GB. On the rear, there’s a 3.15MP camera for photos and videos, as well as a 1.3MP front-facing camera. Other features include LTE connectivity, WiFI, a 4,450 mAh battery and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat as its operating system.
Another tablet with a similar model number SM-T337T was also spotted, hinting at the possible launch of the tablet on T-Mobile as well. We’ll update you as soon as there’s any confirmation.
