The Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus are rumored to come with the same form factor and display size as the current Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus smartphones. According to a recent report, the new Galaxy S9 will also come with the sane 18:5:9 aspect ratio as the Galaxy S8.
The Galaxy S9 is expected to have a 5.8 inch display and the Galaxy S9 Plus a 6.2 inch display, the handset will also feature a much slimmer bezel than the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus.
We are expecting the new Samsung flagships to be powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and also the new Samsung Exynos 9810 processor, the handset are expected to come with at least 6GB of RAM, possibly 8GB.
Samsung are rumored to be working on update facial recognition for their new Galaxy S9 and S9 handsets and the device is also expected to come with some dual cameras. previous rumors have suggested that the handsets will launch earlier than normal next year.
Samsung are rumored to be announcing the S9 and S9 Plus at Mobile World Congress 2018 in February, Samsung normally announced the handsets at their own press event in March or April. There are also rumors of a third handset, the Galaxy S9 Mini although this may launch later on in the year.
