The Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus launched in March we are also expecting to see a new Samsung Galaxy S9 Active smartphone some time soon. Now it would appear that we have some specifications on the handset.
According to a recent report, the Galaxy S9 Active will come with a 4000 mAh battery, this is larger than the ones used in the S9 and S9 Plus.
The handset will also comes with a rugged casing and will feature a 58 inch display with a QHD+ resolution of 2960 x 1440 pixels. The device will use the same processor and the S9 and S9 Plus, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor.
Other rumored specifications on the Samsung Galaxy S9 Active include 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The handset will come with front and rear cameras. On the front of the handset there will be an 8 megapixel camera for Selfies and on the back there will be a 12 megapixel camera for photos and videos.
The device will have a rugged case which protects it from knocks and bumps and it will be waterproof. As yet there are no details on when the new Galaxy S9 Active will be announced, it is expected to be exclusive to AT&T in the US like previous Active versions of Samsung’s flagships.
