Samsung has announced that they are holding a Samsung Unpacked event on the 29th of March, the company will announce their new Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus smartphones at the event.
We have seen a number of leaked photos of the new Galaxy S8 and now Evan Blass has posted a press render of the handset on Twitter.
As we can see from the press render, which looks like an official one from Samsung, the handset looks like the leaked photos we have seen.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus will come with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and the device will also use Samsung’s new Exynos processor in some regions.
The device is rumored to come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of built in storage, it will also come with a microSD card slot for expansion.
Other specifications on the new Samsung Galaxy S8 will include a 5.8 inch display with a QHD+ resolution of 2880 x 1440 pixels and high end cameras on the front and back.
The front camera on the new Galaxy S8 will come with 8 megapixel and the rear camera with 12 megapixels, the device will also come with wireless charging and Samsung Pay.
The new Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to come with Android Nougat and the device will be made official along with the S8 Plus at a press event on the 29th of March, Samsung are expected to start selling the handset some time in early April.
