Samsung has released a new software update for its Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus smartphones. The update is mainly a security update.
The new software update comes with Google’s Android security patch for the month of March and it beings the firmware to versions G950FXXU1CRD7 for the Galaxy S8 and G955FXXU1CRD7 for the Galaxy S8 Plus.
As well as including the latest Android security patch for the month of April, the update also comes with some security updates for Samsung’s own software, plus some performance and stability improvements.
The update should be available for the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus as of now, you can install the latest security update from the settings menu on your handset.
