The Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge will be announced at Samsung’s Mobile World Congress press conference this Sunday and now it looks like the handset may come with an always on display.
According to Sammobile, Samsung is listing a new theme on its theme store called ‘Cuxco’ which is apparently designed for always on displays, this could be for the new Galaxy S7.
The Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are said to come with a 5.1 inch Quad HD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, the handsets will have a choice of processors varying by region, one is the Snapdragon 820, the other is the Exynos 8990.
Other specifications on Samsung’s new flagship will include 4GB of RAM and a choice of 32GB and 64GB of storage, plus a microSD card slot for expansion.
The S7 is said to come with a 2800 mAh battery and the S7 Edge with a 3600 mAh battery, both devices will come with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
The handsets are also getting upgraded cameras, the front camera will have 5 megapixel and the rear camera will uses Samsung’s new 12 megapixel BRITECELL camera sensor which is designed for improved images and videos.
