A new version of Samsung’s flagship smartphone has appeared on their website, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, and it comes with similar specifications to the Galaxy S5 4G+ that launched in Singapore a while back.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus will come with a faster processor than the current model, it will feature a quad core 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, the current S5 comes with a Snapdragon 801 processor.
The new Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus will come with a 5.1 inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, and it will also come with 2GB of RAM and an Adreno 420 GPU.
Other specifications on the Galaxy S5 Plus include 16GB of built in storage, plus a microSD card slot for expansion, the handset also comes with a 2800 mAh battery.
The cameras on the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus are the same as the original handset and it will come with a 2 megapixel front facing camera and a 16 megapixel rear camera, the handset will also come with the faster LTE with download speeds of up to 225Mbps.
The handset also comes with a built in fingerprint sensor and Android 4.4 KitKat, this new version of the Galaxy S5 was listed on Samsung’s website for the Netherlands, which should mean that Samsung will be launching the device in Europe shortly.
