The Samsung Galaxy S5 Active has been available in the U.S. for a while, the handset is a rugged version of Samsung’s Galaxy S5 smartphone.
Now it would appear that Samsung intends to launch the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active in Europe, and the device is said to retail for €629 Euros, and it will be available in two colors, silver and green.
The handset comes with a 5.1 inch Super AMOLED display with a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, it is designed to be dust and waterproof and comes with an IP67 rating, plus a MIL-space 810G rating.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Active features a 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and comes with 2GB of RAM, the handset also have 16GB of built in storage. If you need additional storage, there is also a microSD card slot that can take up to 128GB cards.
The S5 Active comes with a 16 megapixel rear camera and a front facing 2 megapixel camera, the device features the latest version of Google’s mobile OS, Android 4.4 KitKat.
As yet we do not have an exact launch date for the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active in Europe, as soon as we get some more information on when it will be available, we will let you guys know.
