It looks like Samsung may be about to release a smaller version of their Galaxy S4 Active smartphone, the device will apparently be called the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active Mini.
A new Samsung device with the model number GT-I8580 has appeared in the GFXBench benchmarks, the handset is rumored to be the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active Mini.
The Galaxy S4 Active Mini will apparently feature a 4.65 inch display, the original handset comes with a 5 inch full HD display, although this new smaller version is rumored to come with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels.
Other rumored specifications on the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active Mini include a dual core processor with a clock speed of 1.2GHz, plus 1GB of RAM and an Adreno 3.5 GPU.
The handset will also feature front and rear facing cameras, with a 0.3 megapixel camera on the front for video calls and a 5 megapixel camera on the back for photos and video.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 Active conforms to IP67 standards for dust and water protection, the handset can be submerged in water for up to 30 minutes, and we would expect a similar thing from the mini version.
As yet we do not have any details on when the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active Mini will be launched, as soon as we get some more information we will let you guys know.
