After several delays, the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is finally available in the UK. However, there’s one catch here, it’s exclusively available from Vodafone in the UK until January 9th, 2015.
Samsung Galaxy Note Edge was previously set to launch on November 28th, but the date was later pushed back to December 12th. Carphone Warehouse is also selling it, but it’s tied to Vodafone for now.
Vodafone is offering several monthly plans, but didn’t list the price of the SIM-free unit. If you head over to Carphone warehouse, the plans start at £58.50, but you can get the SIM-free unit for £729.99.
Samsung Galaxy Note Edge features a 5.6-inch display sporting a resolution of 2560 by 1440 +160 and is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 805 SoC clocked at 2.7GHz paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage coupled with a microSD card slot of up to 128GB.
The handset also features a 16MP camera for photos and videos, 3.7MP front-facing camera, a 3,00 mAh battery to make sure there’s enough juice for the handset, and runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat as its operating system out of the box.
