We previously heard that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 would launch some time in August and according to a recent report, the release date for the handset will be in early August.
Previous rumors have suggested that Samsung are looking to launch their Galaxy Note 8 before Apple launches their new iPhone 8 which is expected to land in September.
Samsung will apparently be holding a Samsung Unpacked event in early August where they will make their new Samsung Galaxy Note 8 smartphone official and the handset is expected to go on sale some tin in August.
Samsung have big plans for this years Note 8, the company will be looking to make their Note brand popular again after last years problems with the launch of the Note 7.
The Galaxy Note 8 is rumored to come with a 6.3 inch display that will feature a Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and the handset will be powered by a new Qualcomm Snapdragon 836 processor.
Other rumored specifications on the device include 6GB of RAM and a choice of storage options from 64GB up to 256GB.
The handset will come with dual rear camera which will probably be two 12 or 13 megapixel cameras. It will probably come with Android Nougat, although there is the possibility that it could come with Android 8.0, this all depends on when Google decides to release their new OS.
