The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 launched in the US last month and Samsung have been rolling the handset out to more countries.
There have been some reports of issues with the handsets and now shipments of the devices to the major carriers in South Korea have been delayed.
The issue appears to be with the battery on some version of the handsets and there have been some reports of the battery exploding.
This is not good news for Samsung as the new Note 7 had been incredibly popular with pre-orders and this could not happen at a worse time with Apple about to launch their new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus next week.
